Jazz Up Your Ho-Hum Laundry Room

Doing laundry CAN actually be pleasant!

Most people don't enjoy doing laundry so never really think about putting any money or effort into "decorating" their laundry room, whether it's to stay or to sell. Most laundry rooms I see in homes at all kinds of price points just have bare walls, a builder grade wire shelf above the appliances to stash the laundry supplies and bathroom tissue, and a small garbage can shoved in a corner. When listing your home for sale, we recommend that you ensure the shelves are neatly organized and that the room is clean and tidy. Beyond that, there's really not much else you can do to make it more appealing to the buyers.....or is there?

By investing a small amount of time and money, you can quite easily transform your ho-hum laundry room into one that will excite the buyers and make it stand out from the competition.

Below are Before & After examples that I came across on the internet which demonstrate how it can be done simply by adding a pop of colour or pattern on the back wall, stashing away supplies in wicker baskets, displaying powdered detergent in lovely glass jars, hanging art, etc.
